can you hear the wind blowing?
have you heard what it says?
another prayer from ones soul…
sweet heavens might guide it and blew it your way.
things are getting clearer now, day by day believe me it does…
inside of me there are these changes
never in my wildest dream nor i dared to think it could happen..
embracing all these funny feeling and loving every bit of it
always making me stop no matter what i’m doing
keeping every smiles from every little thoughts of you.
online i’ve been waiting just to say ‘Good Morning!’
sure you’re finding me weird, i guess i am, i am guilty of that…
i can be the most weird and impossible guy you’ve ever met but
let me tell you something
every inhabitants of the sky knew my little secret,
knees were bent every night for a prayer -
praying that there will come a time that i will be a part of you- even for just one day, cause dang it! i think you're already part of my everyday...

The title just popped up... hehehe
Just want to say something about the two books I've just finished. Earlier this morning, I was at the edge of my seat reading David Wellington's vampire tale "13 Bullets". It was full of blood, really gory. He was able to make me see what "hell" must look like... I think I can even smell it. Nothing too complicated about the story but it is graphic. Well, it is action-packed, makes you keep on turning pages. But I dont see the point... (i see hell)... not safe to say but i really think it's pointless... but it really got my adrenaline... know what i mean? aheheh whatever...
So- I'm not satisfied...
I decided to get this P50-book i bought at NBS last week. I don't know what it is... I haven't heard of the author... I did not read the synopsis nor the praises for the book. I just grabbed it because I was some kind of frustrated theres no paperback of The Lost Symbol.. heheheh asa? and it is 50 pesos only and in very good condition... i thought it was a childrens book kasi hardbound with big letters, 116 pages. A good for an hour or two of reading...
Anyways, I picked this book before I went to bed tonight, pampaantok lang sana... but the moment I finished the book, I need to go outside of my room to get water. I had this lump on my throat and the salts inside my body almost get ruined... yeah... embarassing but I think I was teary eyed... I never expected that this small book would that be surprising... surprisingly very simple but so powerful it gets through my - well, cheesy but yeah... it gets through my heart... I commend this book for people who's suffering from the pain of loosing someone so dear... There are always these signs that will lead us to get through with whatever painful things we've get ourselves into. For a good read, try to get a copy of "Edward's Eyes".

I'd follow the northern star maybe it will lead me to where you are...
or search for the rainbows end
maybe it is right there where you have slept...
i'll be the knight or the prince that will wake you up..
wait for me, im on my way.
but the pages are now turning into yellow and the lamplights starts to flicker...
no magic wands to do the tricks or a full moon pinned on a velvet black sky to light it all up...
no spells have been uttered but we were cursed...
we were cursed lovers, i am here and you're somewhere far from here, yet to be found..

we were cursed lovers, i am here and you're somewhere far from here, yet to be found..
glad that an angel came in this cold dark box...
at last, somebody's here to help me to get where you are..
but he couldnt speak much...
he doesnt have anything to say but his name - Solitude.
at last, somebody's here to help me to get where you are..
but he couldnt speak much...
he doesnt have anything to say but his name - Solitude.
Solitaire is the only game me and Solitude could play...
we played for hours till the queen of hearts got tired and yawned.
she walked out of the deck and disappear in the darkest corner of this endless room...
the king of diamonds began to bleed until the trapped lights losed it's sparkle.
then all the flowers turned into black and their scents vanished...
the joker took the spade, he painted it black to burry them all.

Solitude just looked straight to my eyes as i watched the cards disappear when another angel came and tapped him on his back...
Solitude seems to smile at me and wave goodbye.
Solitude seems to smile at me and wave goodbye.
the newly arrived angel seemed studying my face... clearing my every thoughts...
telling me in silence that she will introduce me to her twin...
she told me that her name is Nightfall and her twin is yet to arrive - Dream.
telling me in silence that she will introduce me to her twin...
she told me that her name is Nightfall and her twin is yet to arrive - Dream.
Nightfall began singing me lullabys...
i was floating and breathing loudly when
Dream came and showed me your silhouette...
im begging for a face but she wouldn't allow..
i was floating and breathing loudly when
Dream came and showed me your silhouette...
im begging for a face but she wouldn't allow..
i reached out for you but Dream left me...
she left me blinded by the morning light.
i tried hard to open my eyes...
i looked for an angel around this sunlit room...
but they are all gone...
i looked for an angel around this sunlit room...

i searched for their traces
yearned for their scents
hoping that they would come back and let me have a glimpse of you..
yearned for their scents
hoping that they would come back and let me have a glimpse of you..
and there, beside the books was a blue candle
a solitary candle which used to be in the middle of the cake...
i blew it yesterday only to light it up again.
i blew it yesterday only to light it up again.
i closed my eyes and summon Solitude, Nightfall and Dream...
but they seem to ignore me...
but they seem to ignore me...
I saw a familiar angel passed me by...
I met her when i was 6 or 7... i am not mistaken... she's definitely that angel...
I packed my bag and my lunchbox and went out under the scorching sun and followed Hope...
she never look back, she just kept on walking... i followed her scents... she took a sharp turn and i lost her... but she left me with something i cannot describe... something that i want but i don't have... something that i thought i lost only to realize it was never mine...
something that i would only know if i found you.
I'll find you - even finding you means finding the way to atlantis.
Posted 07/13/09 - "Treasure Hunt for Bok"
There’s this one person who always took time to plan for somebody else’s birthday, at least for her batchmates. We think that it is just right to give her a birthday surprise. A treasure hunt for BOK!
We planned this treasure hunt when Jade visit us in Makati office and figured out how we are going to do that. Mark, Raimen and I decided to set up the treasure hunt surprise Sunday, which is – today. Jade had to complete the set up on Monday, Bok’s birthday.
So ayun! Let me just tell you this treasure-hunt-setting-up experience that we had. (I really think that we should have a videocam and have this out-of-this-world experience documented)
So etong nangyari!
7am, the excited celebrant’s bf sent me a message (boy! Pede naman magtext ng 9am, pero 7am on a Sunday? Comatose pako nun! Hahahahaha! Joke). So we agreed to meet at 12nn cause I have commitment at 3pm (which I missed by the way. Hehehe).
So syempre to save more time, nagmadali ako, called a trike and make it zoom to the terminal. Unfortunately I forgot my prescription ( I had to buy meds kasi) So I called another trike pabalik sa bahay and get the prescription.
Few minutes past 12 nasa megamall nako.
So first on the list – gift. Last Friday, we agreed to buy pillow or stuffed toy. So we went straight to toy kingdom.
We found a pillow, which Raimen liked, I almost liked (but really, I thought it was just ordinary), and no comment si mark. Smiley emoticon lang ang papel nya that time. Then I found a stuffed toy. Baboy sya! Oo as in pig! I think I liked it, but Raimen and Mark said it’s quite similar to what Bok already have. So we went to another pile of stuffed toy and we found a star-shaped one. We remembered Star and voila!!! A star for Star.
With few arguments, we decided to look for a book instead. Mark said that Bok is fund of reading pocket books pag wala sya magawa sa dorm. I asked what kind of pocket book? The very good BF said that it was the kind “na napapahiga at nagpapagulong-gulong sa damuhan” love story. Then I asked “May series bang ganun?”. Of course, si Raimen mute emoticon that time, kasi inuutangan namen.. hahahaha…
So nilabas muna namen si Raimen sa mall at pinilit sya magwithdraw! So ayan meron na din kami financer. We went to National Bookstore to look for a pocketbooks:
“Bob Ong, halos nabasa na ni Bok yan eh! Pati pugad baboy” sabi ni Mark
Then we found another book by ricky lee entitled “Para kay B” sakto. Kaya naisip namen na maybe it’s better to give mavic something more on the practical side.
A night gown! Just kidding, we decided to look for a hooded-shirt with kangaroo pouch. That’s when the challenge began.
We went to different stalls but found nothing similar to what Mark, the BF had suggested. We went to department store and found something similar to the shirt we had in mind. But we can’t decide which is which, meron kasing kasamang tank-top na sabi ni Mark eh parang miniskirt! Imaginin nyo naman ang hirap. So mga 6457 years kami nakatayo dun when we decided to look for another shop. While looking for that shirt, we found a girl, maybe aged 6 or 7 wearing a striped blouse with a hood and a kangaroo pouch! Pero we all agreed na ganun nga ung maganda. We found something similar and agreed to buy it. Unfortunately walang size. So ikot ulet kami, then naalala ko meron pa palang shirt for girls sa 3rd floor. So we went there. We made rounds until we spotted something na iba sa hinahanap namen pero okay na sya. We asked for a larger size (small size kasi ung laging nakadisplay), pagdating ni kuya biglang tumambad sa harapan namen ung shirt na iniisip naming bilhin, so humingi ulet kami ng mas malaking size. But di na namen ginawa.
We three agreed that the other one was much better.
After 7346 years, finally papunta na kame sa UP-site.
Imagine nyo na lang ung itsura nung mga tao sa loob, parang I knew what they are thinking “tignan nyo tong tatlong to, parang mga sira!”
So I kept asking Mark, pano tayo pupunta kasi ayaw ko talaga maglakad. So suggestion nya mag cab mga 60 pesos. So 60 / 3 is 20. Pero merong isang di pumayag so nagjeep kami.
So we ride a jeep and then bumaba sa may footbridge. So while talking and inaasar si Raimen na “this is what you get when you try to save 13 pesos. Pede ka madapa, magkasugat at magpatahi ng kung ano mang sugat” Nweiz, ganun lang naman ako mareklamo. So lakad ng konti, really felt regret why I did not bring my camera.
While we were walking, we spotted a security guard toying that big cone na ginagamit sa traffic. Ano ba tawag dun? Basta yung malaking cone na medyo shocking pink or orange yung color. Ginagamit nyang parang telescope.
So ayun! Pasok na kami sa office. And guess what?! Andun si Spoj. So upo muna kami saglit bago bumili ng balloons sa National Bookstore. Konting kwentuhan. Ihi-ihi muna. Konting pahinga. Pumunta na kami sa National Bookstore. We went straight to the gift wrapping section and inquire on the balloon boquet. So a friendly ate told us that we just have to pick balloons for ourselves and tell them the arrangement that we want. We decided to have a big pink heart-shaped balloon on top surrounded by four little flowers, with spiral ribbons hanging from each flowers. Then I white spiral balloon as it stem and a pink paper on it’s base. Medyo matagal gawin ang balloon so kinulet-kulet namen si ate. She asked how old Mark is, at syempre dahil maepal ako, ako sumagot. 29!!! Ay 28 pala! Si ate naman exagge kunyari nagulat! Hahahaha..Then I asked how old she think Raimen is, sabi nya 18!!! MAYGAWD!!! Di ito pede, at syempre I asked how old she think I am. Pero alam mong nambobola sya when she said 17!. Anyways I dropped the topic.
After another 3478 years, the boquet was done. And ung super extra special gift wrapping of that shirt courtesy of Mark (mind you, the wrapping itself is uber expensive but Mark said we could charge it to him. Syempre naman di nako naganu-ano pa, payag agad!) hahahaha. So there, pabalik na kami sa office. Medyo mahaba na ung nalakad namen, we are about to make the final turn bago pumasok ng building when “PUFF!” pumutok ang heart-shaped balloon. So dahil mabait si ate, ginawa nya ulet yung heart-shaped balloon, pinalitan nya for free. This time, ayaw na ni Mark hawakan.
So pagbaba ng hagdan at konting lakad. Humangin ng malakas then “PUFF!” BULLSHIT! Pumutok na naman ung heart-shaped balloon… balik na naman kami sa National Bookstore, this time lahat na nang tao nakatingin samen. We considered an option, kung papalitan ba ng smaller balloons. But we wanted the big one. So ganun ulet pinagawa namen. Tapos na ulet ung balloon. This time ako na ang hahawak.
We are already in the office and we started arranging things. The setting-up took us not more than 10 minutes. Finally its over. We went to Trinoma and had burgers at BK, mind you! The softdrink never tasted that good! Hahahaha!
So there, the mission was done at the same time, the sun was gone.
Raimen got off the train at Cubao station. Me and Mark sa Ortigas. I went to St.Francis Square to buy meds and Mark went back to mega to buy his gift for Bok. Sweet isn’t it? He never lets us see what it is. I guess its for mavic’s eyes only…
So kahit nakakapagod we had an extraordinary experience. Nakakatuwa. Nakakatawa. Sana lang talaga may picture picture man lang. We went out of our own houses like a billboard model (wala nang aangal) just to go back like a carpenter.. hahaha… super nanghuhulas na kame…. Hahahaha…
Can’t wait to hear what happened during the treasure hunt.
We planned this treasure hunt when Jade visit us in Makati office and figured out how we are going to do that. Mark, Raimen and I decided to set up the treasure hunt surprise Sunday, which is – today. Jade had to complete the set up on Monday, Bok’s birthday.

I've seen the trailer of this movie couple of months ago.
If I'm not mistaken it was last year on yahoo.
If I'm not mistaken it was last year on yahoo.
Im actually waiting for this movie that long that I forgotten about it.
It's the movie that I never dared to read the synopsis for no reasons, i just decided not to. (because I always do that.. hehehe)

Di ko alam na showing na pala.
I am actually looking for another movie's schedule (Knowing).
Then I saw 'The boy in the Striped Pajama' is now showing...
but only in one theatre (too glad it's shang, madalas kasi sa greenbelt)

After the mass, I walked under the scorching sun to shang.
Let me tell you something about this movie, so this is like a review..
hehehehe
(my very first attempt)
hehehehe
(my very first attempt)
Aside from the story, I'm gonna be talking about cinematography, video editing, sound scoring, casting, acting and even costume designs and other things i think necessary for a movie review.
JOKE!
I just want to tell that the movie is really moving.
Don't know how to describe it but it's the same feeling I got when I first read Victor Hugo's Les Miserables (more than ten years ago.. hahahaha)
It's the feeling that made me realize that we are damn lucky that we're not born in times of war.
(well, we might be experiencing a differenct kind of war who's hiding in the name of Recession)

It's the story of an 8-year old kid during WWII.
Bruno, a nazi officer's son who befriended Shmuel, a jew.

Sure there's few seconds this movie gets a lil too boring.
Thanks to the honest lines of each characters, it's not like other movies where children's lines were too complicated for their age.

Innocence is the word.
It was beautifully established in the movie.
It was beautifully exposed until it was lost.
And then the friendship was found, as well as hope.

And then the friendship was found, as well as hope.
It's different for me because most of the war movies that i've seen is from the hero's perspective. If not, from lovers or from someone who's 'kunyari' part ng story.
It's the kind of story na parang you dont want to blink, specially from the second half cguro un ng movie.
I was holding my breath when these two young boy's innocent plans where at progress...
I was holding my breath when the elders figured what's happening...
I was holding my breath when a familiar picture from history books flashed on the silver screen...
I was holding my tears when it happened.

I was holding my tears when it happened.
And I told myself so he's 'The boy in the Striped Pajama'.
A very very unexpected twist.
A very very unexpected twist.
And then the final credits rolled.
Everybody inside the theatre were all speechless..
nobody moved...
very unusual because I never saw an audience like that..
madalas kasi may mga buzz or sighs..
but then kanina for a couple of second nobody talked...
di ko alam for how long kasi I was frozen also..
sure nablanko din ako for a few seconds...
but i got back to my senses before they do hehehe...
and then i saw this teenage girl... yakap ng dad nya, she's crying.

I left the movie house with a heavy heart.
Well I think the movie is great.
Other's might find flaws in this movie pero i guess that really depends on one's taste.

If you're into stories like this, (parang historical drama) this is one story you'll never forget.
I'm quite sure of that.

I was waiting for the sala to clear up.

I guess it was because somebody recommended it.
Or it was because I was so intrigued by the book covers (yes! TrueBlood is based on Charlaine Harris' novel)
(Just a little FYI, i was about to buy the first book last week, but unfortunately i don't know what's the first book is. And much to my surprise the sales attendant doesnt know either. Wala kasing number hahahaha
I just thought that was a bad 'Omen'.. hahahaha I decided to search first on the net)

To my rescue, the visitor, who happens to be a balikbayan, knew the show.

I really wanted to evaporate right then and there.
Sure I watched porn during my teens but that fact is really not known here.
In a house with conservative parents and three elder sisters, where the closest talk about sex is pregnancy.
From the look in their faces, what they have just seen was scandalous.
Back to the real time.
I just realize, why gave me that look?
I might be the youngest here, but HEY! IM AN ADULT!
No big deal!
Why did i blogged it then?
Di ko din alam, its just that it really felt funny.
Blame it on my twisted mind.

have you ever felt guilty about something you don't know?
have you ever wanted to get your old toys back?
have you ever wonder where the unfamiliar streets might lead you?
have you ever tried to search for a book with "shitville" on the covers?
have you ever tried to write something in your mind but couldn't get started?
have you ever felt starving but don't know if it's for food or something?
have you ever think of having a barcode tattoo on your nape?
have you ever wonder how it's like to travel alone in a strange place?
have you ever tried to measure your threshold for pain?
have you ever feel like- you are at your best but everything seems mediocre?
have you ever hated someone who just ask for the time?
have you ever attended a mass and did not know it was ended?
have you ever bought an ice cream just to realize what you want is beer?
have you ever thought that we were just puppets, waiting for a string to make the illusion called life?
have you ever wonder if there's another you somewhere, maybe outside the milky way?
and if there is, would you consider the possibility of switching?

Inside this not-so-enormous box-
The very same box that crazy-little-me is currently sitting..
Oh! I just realized, just right now
that i missed my old box
a box where i can look at the starry starry summer night sky before closing my eyes to sleep...
to dream.. (nyahahahahaha)
that same old box let the sunshine in through the window..
sometimes sunrays hits my eyes. waking me up.
not like this one.
dark
cluttered
walls reflects every piece of you, of me.

before the drama sets in I just want to share what i did this day...
ahahahahaha
i know, its just another day
no big deal
no-non-sense-souls doesn't give a damn...
but just like last year, i want to belong.

no big deal
no-non-sense-souls doesn't give a damn...
but just like last year, i want to belong.
i dont have any plans today, wala ding book to read. no dvd's to watch.
i decided to play a game... game that only crazy-little-me would want to play
i sat beside the cd rack
closed my eyes
ran my fingers to the cd's
and picked one...
to my surprise, i picked one of those cd's that i 'burned' way way back.
no covers, no way to know whats inside that disk.

nweiz. i can't stand it. so i convinced myself that it's not the right game to play.
I wanted to read na lang.
wala nako book
so i decided to go over my sisters thing.
there's a lot of titles but di ko yata talaga kaya basahin.
i was about to leave their room when i saw this familiar cover..
i took the book, it smells like hell but i don't care.
it's one of the book that i enjoyed reading secretly..
i think i've read it more than three times...
its the story of mariah johnson and paul strobe...
(google it!)

overreacting about the thought of this day, you might conclude...

but crazy-little-me suddenly wants to feel...
forgive me for being cheesy but i can't help it.
forgive me for being cheesy but i can't help it.
i want to share another story, it is someone else's story by the way...
once there's a grade school boy who walked in the aisle with her crush on a sunday afternoon mass.. they were good friends, but young as they were, the boy did not encounter the thoughts of being with her alone... he let go of whatever it was that he felt.
couple of years had passed, they were in high school then. The boy always waited outside his classroom, right there in the corridor during recess waiting for her. The boy liked it when she confided him her secrets. He was the only one who knew whatever his friend cannot tell her other friends. Still, he did not entertain whatever it was that he felt.
not long enough, they both went to college, the college boy never thought of her, he is enjoying his almost adult years. But one day across the street, he saw that girl that he walked side-by-side in the aisle after that sunday afternoon mass, walking hand in hand with a guy. Suddenly his heart felt something that was not welcomed, he suddenly had thoughts that were unsolicited.
all the things that he did not entertain before and all that stuffs that he tried to let go were all in front of him. he suddenly embraced them all.
it worked for him...
but not for long.
it worked for him...
but not for long.
all that thoughts and all that feelings are now encapsulated by the boy's memory,
polished by his own fantasies...
renewed by his own dreams...
revived by the crazy beatings...
polished by his own fantasies...
renewed by his own dreams...
revived by the crazy beatings...
the boy is getting used to it...
living by his own memory...
loving someone who's now is just an idea..
living by his own memory...
loving someone who's now is just an idea..
so that's how the story goes...
i think nobody wants to be like him...
just a question for him i wanted to ask..
how long will he do the waiting?
just a question for him i wanted to ask..
how long will he do the waiting?
i think i know what needs to be done.
so i told him
but he asked
will it be that easy?
errr i still need to figure that one out!

ahehehe
wala pa rin pala akong sense...
sencia na, i feel like blogging eh..
hehehehe
Happy valentines day!
greet me too if you reach this line!
